Bill Mohler

Bill is a fun, friendly and encouraging teacher, with a back-to-basics approach. His focus is to make yoga accessible to anyone and everyone by teaching you what the asanas are trying to accomplish and explaining things in simple terms. His friendly and easygoing style combined with my training background, NASM fitness certification and passion for yoga will guarantee you a great class and a great, healing workout!“Heated, healing yoga” as he calls it, or “Hot Yoga” is a movement of Hatha Yoga that is practiced in a heated room. Most forms of Hot Yoga heat the room anywhere from 80-105 degrees. The Sun Room is kept at 90 degrees. Any style of yoga can be heated and deemed "Hot Yoga". Hot Yoga styles and studios which stem from the Bishnu Ghosh lineage are predominantly considered "Hot Yoga". Asanas (poses) can be modified for all levels, including those blessed with pregnancy, and can be a great exercise for those suffering from back pains as well as those working with injuries. It is through my own past injuries that I came to do this yoga many years ago. For those who wish to advance their practice, this can also be an invigorating challenge! See www.billmohleryoga.com  for my complete class schedule. www.billmohleryoga.com

Bill has many yoga and martial arts influences that inform his practice. He also works with intensive breathing exercises and zen meditation, recognizing that the outward sonorousness of yoga must be balanced with an inward silent strength, and that both must be cultivated over time through a lot of practice. Start your new practice, refine your current skills or renew your commitment to yoga. All ages and levels welcome. Come share Bill's passion for yoga, breathe deeply, stand a little taller, and sweat a lot! Heated, healing yoga.

Kari Sini

Kari fell in love with the movement of the body in the form of dance at an the age of 3 and throughout her childhood took many lessons in Ballet, Tap and Jazz. In her teens Theater and Drama occupied her time and she decided to get her Bachelor of Art at The University of Washington. In collage, Kari Sini was first exposed to Yoga with Siddha Yoga meditation, Kundalini Yoga and later upon graduation took Bikrm's Yoga teacher training course in 2000. KS has been teaching Yoga for 10 years and became the manager of The Sun Room in 2010. After a scary diagnosis of Fibromyalgia when owning and operating her own cafe, she did not get as much relief from yoga as she had hoped. Holding long postures proved to be extremely arduous and could sometimes make the pain even more intense. Desparate to find another way to exercise and be healthy KS decided t6o try going to a gym. KS became a certified personal trainer through The National Academy of Sports Medicine in 2009. She now teaches one on one strength traing, cardio or balance gaining sessions for only $50 for 50 minutes as she hopes to be more accesible than most gyms. Also, providing training in a yogic environment can be a lot less intimidating for anyone just starting out, and can intensify and improve any yoga practice given her experiendce with many styles.

Miriea Segura

For the last 14 years I have been practicing and being passionate about yoga,as a result of this I became a licensed yoga instructor. I graduated from the Anusara Teaching Training atYoga Kula on april 2010, during this TT I stared practicing with parents and teenagers at the Good Samaritan Family Resource Center. In my yoga teaching the spiritual part is as important as the physical. The connection ofthe body, mind and spirit on the breath is where my emphasis goes through out the class, finding happiness, freedom and peace on life. I love working with people in making them feel good physically, mentally and spiritually and yoga is my main tool.

Peter Wong

Peter Wong started his path on becoming a certified yoga teacher (200 hrs Yoga teacher certification - Yoga Tree SF) after 20 years of social service work specifically in geriatrics and HIV. In additional to his practice of Hatha and Shadow inspired yoga, Peter found his passion for gentle Restorative yoga.  Restorative yoga is a supported, conscious body/mind relaxation practice.  By supporting the body with props such as bolsters, blocks, straps, sandbags, blankets and eye pillows, the body is able to relax and open, releasing tension and toxins.  The practice of restorative yoga is designed to relieve fatigue and stress, promote well being, and bring healing balance.  It is ideal for beginners, senior citizens, and individuals with medical issues and also a great compliment for experienced yogis who practice more active styles of yoga.
